- AdaptNet is RMIT University
Global Cities Institute's Climate Change Adaptation Working Group
network focused on urban climate change adaptation. This network
highlights best practice and demonstration projects, focussing on cities
in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
- Committee on Climate Change, Adaptation Sub-Committee : established under the Climate Change Act 2008, the ASC will provide expert advice and scrutiny through the CCC to ensure that the Government’s programme for adaptation enables the UK to prepare effectively for the impacts of climate change.
- Adaptation Scotland: provides advice and support to help ensure that Scotland is prepared for, and resilient to the impacts of climate change.
- The Joseph Rowntree Foundation: an endowed charity that funds a large, UK-wide research and development programme seeking to understand the root causes of social problems, to identify ways of overcoming them, and to show how social needs can be met in practice.
- CIRCLE-2: a European Network of 34 institutions from 23 countries committed to fund research and share knowledge on climate adaptation and the promotion of long-term cooperation among national and regional climate change programmes.
